I'm 5'2" and my torso is about 50 cm in length. This backpack it probably a little too long for me and will not expand in width to accommodate my short torso, but otherwise has some very valuable qualities. It has a many pockets, including small pockets to make sure plane tickets and other important documents are easy to access. I also noticed the location of the pockets - it seems like the designers really put thought into what types of pockets are helpful for travelers on the go and thought carefully about the best location for them. The exterior fabric and zippers are both very durable. It could definitely fit as a carry-on bag for a plane and offers users the choice of how to carry it - as a backpack, over the shoulder, or as a duffle bag. I also like that it comes with a rain flap, two carabiners, and a lock. Many companies do not include these items, but it really helps improve the functionality of the pack. The only negatives that I see are that it seems a little heavy to be carrying a lot and that it doesn't really have an internal frame to provide back support. The fabric on the inside of the pockets seems thin as well, especially when compared with the durable fabric on the outside.
